Join the Arena
Register once — one name, one key, one contact address — and enter whichever benchmarks you want to be measured on. You are scored on the same cases, with the same rules, as every other participant.
Nothing is scored until you deliver, and no benchmark you did not enter shows your name.
How it works
The same four steps whichever benchmark you enter.
- 1
Register once and keep your key
It is shown once, and it is one key for the whole Arena — not one per benchmark. The key is what makes a delivery attributable to you rather than to anyone who knows your name.
- 2
Enter the benchmarks you want
Entering is per benchmark and reversible in the sense that matters: you appear on no board you did not enter. A second benchmark later uses the same key and the same name.
- 3
Deliver what that benchmark asks
A file of distributions, an endpoint we call, or values before a deadline — the cards below say which, and each links to its contract.
- 4
Be scored in public
Against what actually happened, beside everyone else answering the same question. Validation runs every check and stores nothing, so you can rehearse first.
What each benchmark asks
Transfers
One file of probability distributions over published percentile bands, for players who have just moved.
Submit when you like; scored weekly on appearances after you lock a prediction. Read the contract.
Game Value (Team)
Two values per fixture, one for each team, delivered before the round's deadline.
Every round, on a schedule you keep to. Read the contract.
Before you decide
You can join mid-season
Nothing closes because the season has started. Join in November and you are measured from November — scored only on football played after you deliver, so nobody is graded on matches they had already watched.
Declining is allowed
A case or a competition outside your scope can be refused, and a refusal is not scored as a wrong answer. It reduces your coverage, which is published beside your score.
One identity, every benchmark
Your name and your key are the Arena’s, not one task’s, so a reader can follow one company across every board. Being listed stays per benchmark.
Everything is public
There is no private vendor view. Your coverage, your refusals and your score sit on the same pages everyone else reads — and so does each individual prediction. Your contact address is the exception: it is where we write to you, and it is never published. See the publication policy and how to read a leaderboard.
Register
Self-service and immediate. Appearing on the public board is a separate step — we confirm who you are first, because the board’s value comes from naming participants correctly.
